Während Heidi Klums schrille Halloweenkostüminszenierungsmedienspektakel alljährlich große boulevardeske Aufmerksamkeit erfahren, überrascht Steffi Graf auf ihrer Internetseite mit einer leisen, ehrlichen, traditionellen Verkleidung. Steffi hat sich aus einem alten Tennisröckchen eine Schlumpfine gebastelt. Sie schreibt: ”We always have a great time on Halloween celebrating with friends and family trying to outdo each other with creative costumes. Here I am as Smurfette for this year’s party.” Eine Erklärung, warum ihre Interpretation der Schlumpfine fluoreszierend grün ist, bleibt sie uns allerdings schuldig.
Mit der gleichen Kostümierung, aber in original schlumpfigem Blau, belegte meine kleine Schwester vor 25 Jahren bei der Kostümprämierung einer Kinderfaschingsparty den letzten Platz, wofür sie mir heute noch Leid tut. Prinzessin kann doch jeder. Das sieht Steffi wohl auch so.

Actually the color looks blue-green to me but color interpretation is always subjective.
The Grafassis’s always have contest on best costume at their Halloween party which of course is catered more for kids than Heidi Klum’s party, (she went as a corpse this year,ugh).
